Whilst on the face of it I think you make a valid point, I find it hard to believe it would take them this long to announce something is wrong etc. I would think there could be implications for them if they were to announce something like "we knew there was a problem weeks ago, we've just been trying to figure it out", surely that would have warranted a trading halt as soon as problems occur (e.g. PL3, then later stating they figured out how to switch it on). At least in my potentially naive mind they have no choice but to announce when an unexpected problem occurs, even if later they're able to workaround it.
Not disagreeing with you entirely, just trying to think about what that scenario implies.
Cautiously optimistic, we wait for Monday.
