Doesn't The Parable of the Talents, found in Matthew 25:14-30, show that both Jesus and God accept rich people?
God expects us to be responsible stewards of the resources, gifts, and opportunities given to us.
If we use our gifts to create wealth, that's fine, but wealth creates more opportunities for Satan to lead us astray.
That might be why Jesus said the bit about a rich man entering the kingdom of God, but as long as we believe in Jesus and God we will still get a ticket to Heaven.
