Um, no.. gold is highly enriched at surface by weathering and oxidation. Much of the gold from the formerly overlying 100s of metres of rock that has been eroded away has been leached downwards into the oxide zone and re-deposited in the oxidised quartz veins now exposed and sampled here at surface. Gold values in the equivalent quartz veins at depth will be much lower in the underlying unoxidised fresh rock. And the rockchip sampling here will by its nature have been highly selective of the best-looking, richest segments of the outcropping, oxidised quartz vein. The drilling will tell all.
