good value fish and chips (with rice)

a couple of years ago, watso would buy $2 worth of chips from the local fish and chip shop.. then go to the park and enjoy .. and not a bad feed..

the price of frozen chips has doubled in the last couple of years..

anyway spud shed had 3x1kg of frozen chips for $5 (but they were small chips)

spudshed also had rice cups (2 packs for $1.. single serve size)

and aldi have good sardines for 90c/can

mmm a good feed.

... about 333gm of frozen chips in the air fryer (60c)

... can sardines (90c)

ie that is fish and chips

and then 50c for one serve of rice

so just over $2 for a good feed ... and minimum effort
