The obvious issue with your comment here is that it's Iran's leaders that don't recognize Israel's right to exist.
I could post comments from Iranian Presidents, the Ayatollah etc, but they are easily accessible if you are interested.
When the leaders of a country threaten another country in this way, it's logical that the other country in question would want to deny Iran the ability to follow through with these statements.
Also putting it in context, Jews have a history of being threatened in this manner, and those doing the threatening actually carrying out their statements once they had the ability to do so.
