You've definitely earned your stripes sticking with this one for 13 years. That’s not investing, that’s a long-term relationship. I get the excitement with how things are shaping up globally. Oil might just be the one thing going up faster than rent prices in Dubai.

But let’s be honest, Melbana has flirted with potential for years. Every few months we hear it’s about to pop, only to end up waiting... again. I’m still holding too, but my enthusiasm is now seasoned with a side of skepticism. Complex geology and Cuba’s red tape are real issues, but so is the need for clear communication and actual drilling progress.

I’ll raise a cautious glass to the perfect storm theory. Hopefully this time, it's more action and less weather report.
