In terms of the defence being lodged I have always said that I'd be staggered if they lodged however the closer it gets to the date the more chance there is of a lodgement I guess.
In some respects to see how they justify their decision would be fascinating but on the other hand the fact that the AG would have signed off on the Government's defence would be an indictment to this whole process.
I can only hope that mediation has already started and consent orders will be issued just prior to the 25/6/25 outlining a strict timeframe by which the Government is to reassess (and by extension approve) PEP11
