If Iran wasn't calling for Israel's destruction, enriching uranium well beyond all other non-nuclear weapon nations, & hiding things from the IAEA, Israel would not have cause to strike.
In fact, IMO if Iran kept it's enrichment to 20% max, and allowed IAEA inspectors, my suggestion is the US would tell Israel it couldn't strike at Iran. It'd be easy enough to do, they'd just withhold munitions & intel/logistics.
