    It could be as Exised mentioned a while back, the main bot(s) is just following momentum. Brokers go for lunch, Bot now notices subdued buy demand and switches to sell.

    In regards to the 20% sell down. Share prices generally follow Earnings per share(when companies have earnings of course). Selling down 20% reduces EPS in the short term but will it then add to EPS long term due to less debt funding(interest payments)required, or dilution via raising?
