First of all, I'm with you bud - I wish shorters to be burnt to a crisp because they are facilitating the total demise of the system for their evil gain!!!
"...they [Virtu] may be trying to use the shorters to push the price back down..."
AND;...
"...[Virtu] buy in the 90s... and also create a mini short squeeze...",
BUT, their [Virtu] creed states;...
"...while maintaining anonymity and minimizing market impact",
Which may or may not be adhered to.
Kind of like a mission statement, it sounds good on paper, but then there is reality.
