I would expect larger gaps without a staggered open.

There's no liquidity at open as MMs need to build levels and inventory.

Previously if trading banks you could watch ANZ, they may dump them MMs begin to stabilise levels by the time WBC was due to open. So the frantic 'sell it all' mindset may have eased if you've seen other banks find some lows.

Now, I'd expect after a large overnight move (up or down) the fear and greed will be exacerbated with only overnight trade levels to go off.

I could be wrong but it does look like may see larger opening moves with a single wave of liquidity.

Gonna make it impossible to take multiple opening trades (for me anyway as had a bit of a system).

I'll still need to read more info and watch a few sessions to get my head around.
