The cynic in me is wondered why we can't use the "Blood absorption in humans" as a proxy for the blood absorption in animals. Animal testing on mice and Beagles is used in studies as proxies for human studies. Why can't we submit the human studies as proxies for the animal studies. This circular resolution to the lack of data conundrum is logical, however, it may be argued that there is not enough evidence that humans are good enough proxies for mice and Beagles being used as proxies for humans.
