Anyone who thinks there will be overnight peace hasnt studied much Middle Eastern history. You only need to look back at the Arafat years (PLO) and Israel. It was a series of raids and bombings over many years, all punctuated by a never ending series of ceasefires, that were all ignored by the participants. The ceasefires became a laughing point every time one came out.
