ive appreciated the effort you've put into your replies, thanks for your insights... very interesting to know the philosophical/mental approaches traders have...

now, anyone with a formula or name of a statistical process i can use to identify the 'n'-most significant values (those with highest frequencies) from a frequency table? :)
