lol lol these days , watso is 100% cheering for the mad mullahs in Tehran .. some crazy mad mullah - a couple of decades ago decided that nukes were bad .. watso has not double checked .. but maybe the same head honcho/mullah, as is running the show today ..

there is a reason why watso, these days, steers clear of the australian politics forum (apart from an odd post .. because of the elections)

CRAZY WORLD and posts on hc are meaningless ..(except of course watso's posts. because world leaders always like to peep into watso's thoughts .. and available for free on hc )

@watso no need to be sniggering! - like anyone else, I am reliant on the information available via TV, radio, some overseas services in a foreign language (I read German and French news) - have loyalty to Australia, but cringe at some things our leaders do - and my long-time friend, who I also met on HC no longer posts, but he is now tethered to oxygen bottles, and mostly housebound - assures me that reading and posting on HC is a waste of time.

Well, I ignore his advice and spend too much time on here, whilst awaiting my fortune on a few 'goldies' -

This world's politicians will do what they know best, that is: bully others into submitting to them and feeding their bottomless hunger for??? EVERYTHING - a hunger which can never be stilled.

Why should I bother? Honestly, I don't know myself, except I have had a lifelong interest in politics - would be in politics now (retired!) if I hadn't migrated to Australia - and would be in a lot of bother. So I am thankful, that reading on here, at a distance, gives me a taste of what I may have missed out on - and often leaves me with a feeling of gratitude. I no longer feel that what our politicians do will impact me greatly - especially at my time of life - but do think about my children and grandchildren (I have recently become a great-grandmother, 13.6. a tiny prem girl - thank G.d born one day before Donny's)

But I am interested in the 'truth' however hard it manages to hide itself; and all the purveyors of 'the truth' however well researched they appear to be. Somewhere among all this dross, an all the countries of this world, there is Mr and Mrs Average, just trying to have a peaceful and decent life.

It is for them, and myself and my friends and family I worry over and want to be a little ahead of what next surprise is waiting round the corner.
