To which I reply: "I only said it is considered an advantage - not that dry gas projects can't be commercial. In fact there are a lot of dry gas shale projects in the USA which I mentioned in an earlier post. But to your strange comparison, I'm sure you'd appreciate the big difference between 10,000 foot horizontal 60 stage fracked shale wells vs 800m vertical CSG wells. One is US$28M+++ per well using a massive HP rig shipped over to Australia just to give it a go, the other requires very small rigs and quick cheap drilling. So CSG gas projects have very different cost structures and aren't really a great comparison to Beetaloo shale."
