As an American you would have witnessed many airline failures. Now you reckon;-
"Bye Bye Qantas, it was always an accident waiting to happen."
Whilst I do admit QANTAS show poor judgement by giving free 'Chairman's Lounge' memberships to politicians and their families I do not think you need to worry about their decisions regarding safety. There isn't a single airline in the US that even comes close.
Comparing Qantas to Malaysian Airlines is plain silly. The Gov. there was run by currupt pollies with their fingers in the till in a big way. That was one of the reasons they lost three (3) aircraft in only a few years.
Buy some QAN shares.
