Although you do have a point, the reason copper is attractive is not so much for the exclusivity of the energy transition (I do agree that it is sort of a subject that definitely goes deeper and uglier than they yet are willing to admit). Copper is just really necessary for everything, therefore it is attractive. The best for the environment and the planet, which however is a completely different discussion, is for us to stop overpopulating it and I don’t think anyone really is willing to go that sacrificial way for the better of the whole.
