    There is a degree of selection bias and confirmation bias in reviewing the TLS SP against the ASX 200 market beta.

    The ASX200 market beta from July 2019 to now is arguably much better than the rise in the Telstra SP, especially given the buyback and other factors with the SP that undermine that argument.

    The TLS SP was also at extremely depressed levels whereas the ASX200 was already recovered.

    I mean a fall from $7.40 to $3.61 is extremely bad for a blue chip in anyone’s language.

    It is struggling to move up from present levels even tho the ASX 200 is showing a better albeit lagged performance compared to its peers,
