That's my point exactly, it requires unemployment to spike before the house prices become an issue. Hence I don't understand why the focus on house prices, I don't see any commentary on unemployment rate / macroeconomic conditions here. Until this is an issue, the whole house price discussion is just fluff. I work in banking and we have to run annual stress testing of macro downturn... In simple terms no unemployment spike no party for GOAT69 even if house prices decline materially.
