Add to that things like shipping, which is actually more polluting than airlines, truck fleets (total cost of ownership is now at a tipping point that all (smart) fleet owners are likely to make the change to electric trucks), trains as well - the writing is on the wall already.
In my view, the Chinese might be winning the short term battle trying to keep lithium prices as low as possible, but in doing so, supply isn't coming on, and in a year or so, I expect things to change markedly.
We just have to hang in there until there's the inevitable massive rebound in Li prices.
