If the short aggregate is falling volumes data suggest that the daily short gross should be rising.For me daily gross short sales yesterday of 281,559 would not historically be indicative of much covering happening. Perhaps 75K at a stretch.In comparison daily gross short sales average for last 6 month is in the range ≈ 500,000. Daily gross last 3 months ≈ 620,000.So who is buying ?Other than the standout buy of 475k units 10:25 Thursday its been a case of slow and steady with transaction sizing consistent with recent daily spread.From a Technical observation though the average moving price (chart below last 140 days) now exceeds average moving volume which generally is consistent with a stock that has run too far and too fast without a supporting announcement.A case of making negative Nancy observation perhaps but being a TA thread and all I should be safe
