USA's foreign plicy towards Iran has always been hostile. Until they managed to conduct a coup and install their own puppet. Things went back to hostile back in 1979 when USA lost it's grop on the political situation in Iran.
You falsely claimed that Iran is Sharia - it is not. Saudi Arabia is though.
So if you have an issues with Sharia law, why do you like Saudi Arabia so much? It still kills journalists, still discriminates against women. And is still allegedly spreading Wahhabism globally.
A case of shifting standards that reflect your biases perhaps?
