this was replayed on ABC2 last night. it didn't mention UCG at all - all CSG. the public will not understand the difference and will all be lumped in together. if they are successful with their public awareness campaign (and i hope they are based on the appalling way they are being treated and the potential for damaging underground water reserves) then UCG will have to undertake a public awareness campaign of their own to explain the difference. of course it would also be a great opportunity to promote the technology as a far superior energy source. needless to say, the hypocrisy of DERM's treatment of the two technologies is completely laughable.
