thanks for sorting out my bumbling calc,
whichever way you do the calcs it adds up to a fairly inconceivable grade;
6 grains of gold in 1.5kg or dirt
1000kg/1.5 = 666 (now I'm really freaked out bringing up
that number)
666 x 6 grains = 3996 grains of gold per tonne
480 grains per troy oz
3996/480 = 8.3oz per tonne
too high for my liking, maybe someone threw in a few grains while nobody was looking lol grades like that have been found but very rare.
at the same time the area might be deemed pristine in the sense that no technology has yet been used to extract the gold, might be comparable to the gold rush days where it was all labour intensive panning etc
who knows, the best may be yet to come but wise to keep a lid on things until a bigger sample is assayed.
they said results would be back in around 2 weeks so no doubt we would be close now.
cheers and good luck all holders.
