any ideas on how many they are likely to take, and on what basis any scaleback might be done?

ie a threshold to clean up smaller holders, or straight percentage?

there was a buy-back about 2007, I am not aware of the full details but the uptake rate might be relevant.

Have only been involved in 1 buyback before that I can remember, but for SMSF pension, this seeems a no brainer.

In fact am kicking myself did not read up earlier, as I could have bought more.

Also have the option of doubling my holding now, offering up my full initial holding, then selling any excess, hopefully at a profit later, although I would have to sell other stocks to afford this.

Am assuming it will be over 12 months before I see my franking credits via the SMSF, as havent got 09-10 yet
