Hi here is a map which shows COY's prime position in 2 of the 3 recognized copper belts on New Britain.It seems the Kulu Awit belt has also attracted the attention of Xstrata.The thing is that the majors like Barrick and Xstrata have the funds to hire some excellent teams of geologists to review all available information on the geology of an area .They have voted with their wallets by taking positions in JV's on this particular belt.
It also seems like that COY may take a leaf out of FNT's book and retain 100% ownership of either or both the Fulleborn or Powell leases when they are granted
