Debono, I am content to 'play by the rules'and engage in polite banter free of insult. I find it just as easy to express myself that way.
The timing of this new policy of decorum does favour Ms Gillard who is in a very stressful period of minority rule. When Mr Howard was in power there were busloads of teacher /protesters using every technique possible to develop 'Howard Haters'.
Of course now that the ALP is in power all the protest groups have evaporated. No sewing up lips of the thousands in detention for months. No protests by psycologists about the record number of children behind razor wire. No high profile lawyers.
The anti war protesters have gone awol. Amnisty's candle has gone out. The whistleblowers chorus don't give a hoot about Ms Gillard finding Mr Assange guilty without trial.
There does seem to be a suspiciously co-ordinated dampening of criticism.
