Indeed it has been a long time in the making. 5 years at least since announced here in Australia , but the drug compound AMP945 and its companion AMP886 have been around longer than that until Chris and one of his colleagues ' entrepreneurs ' brought it back to OZ.

So it wouldn't surprise at all if ....just like he did with Professor Andrew Wilks in discovering the cancer fighting molecule ' momelotinib ' ....which was sold to GSK in 2023 for $2.8 Billion ......or even and the discovery by the mutually involved Walter and Eliza Hall Institute together with AbbVie and Genentech which is part of the Roche Group....of the cancer fighting drug ....with ' Made in Australia all over it , named Venetoclax.
This second cancer fighting drug Ventoclax is primarily used for fighting chronic lymphocytic leukemia( CLL ) or small lymphocytic leukemia (SLL ) is currently estimated to have a current market of USD $1.22 Billion and which is expected to reach USD $2.43 Billion by 2033.
So looks to me that we have the next ' momelotinib '.....or ' Venetoclax '. Drugs and molecules which were amd are worth $Billions in market earning potential as well as value at time of acquisition.
And the market isn't stupid. Its knows what they are worth should they ultimately repeat the success and track record of Dr Chris Burns.
