CDU won't be in the surf at the Gold Coast. They will be monitoring, asking pointed questions and generally making a nuisance of themselves, but they would be wise to let those who know how to project manage a major project and those with experienced personnel and current expertise build.

CDU should gently point out when the scope and standards specified therein aren't being met as they occur. Sometimes CDU will see something they forgot to ask for and Sino will argue about costs and next day Sino will stuff up, and the next day they compromise and everyone's a winner. Sometimes a major dummy spit, but that is how sensible people behave. They don't go throwing their weight around. In the end everyone suffers minor haircuts along the way, but basically satisfied.

Not sure what you are thinking, but I'm sure you are well versed in $200M projects and agree with me. What contacts or inside info do you have about CDU's plans if so certain they won't sit back and I presume you suggest they'll be running things day to day?
