As if starting a trade war with tariff's was not enough, the on and off delaying tariff's and changing the rate of tariff makes it increasingly difficult for business as it is causing confusion and uncertainty.
For now because TACO countries are largely ignoring Trump's tariff and his threats it's business as usual, they know that while the tariff's will impact their exports the tariff's will have a negative impact on USA it's self. They must be laughing that the tangerine Caligula thinks it's the export country that pays the tariff.
Mean while countries that are in the firing line of the tariff's are taking the opportunity to access other more friendly markets, once that happens they can largely ignore the USA tariff's and makes it difficult for USA for business they no longer have easy access to cheap goods from those countries.
If the tangerine Caligula was serious and getting the trade deficit down he should embrace free trade and work to having American business export more, as it is countries being hit with tariff's are retaliating with their own tariff's which is hurting USA exports
As they say there are no winners in trade wars but countries that know that are better placed to deal with that, clearly the tangerine Caligula has no idea
