One of the things that one doesn't see much written about is small subs -

we always see about big nookes, we see discussions about diesel V nooke - and we see about attack subs and ones that are built for defence

what one almost never sees are articles about subs for terror attacks. Not just by terrorists - but, as weapon carriers for military purpose -

small teensy things - which are sacrificial - carrying things that go bang - bigly

why would they be lethal? ----------- Well.

Where's New York. Where are ports. Where is Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane.

Targets aren't just military installations and of strategic military importance.

Imagine a little underwater craft slipping into New York or Sydney - is it possible to do so without detection?

Well, drug runners seem to think so -- imagine a small nuke device on a tiny tiny submarine, either released from a ship offshore or sent from a long way away in some foreign land -

from what we see of 'surveillance' - for example - Chinese ships off the WA coast - SURFACE ships - big things - choofing along - and Aussie defence KNEW their location - then - pooof - they lost them

if you 'lose' a bloody big ship on top of the water - what's your chances of losing a little baby sub UNDER the water - with a very large firecracker in it?
