Centre on target for open day

Joyce Chorny, principal co-ordinator of the neighbourhood centre said she was ?very, very excited? with the outcome of the meeting and wanted to salute the efforts of construction contractor VDM, whose hard work and constant reorganisation of the building schedule with the heavy summer rains enabled the work to continue on schedule.

Allowing for ?rain and foul weather days? in the construction contract was another step that helped in keeping the progress on track.

?The Centre will be built on time and to the standard it was designed to,? Ms Chorny said.
