Logic and the share market are miles apart. I deliberately stated "I expect the COE sp to appreciate more than BPT in the next couple of months".
So ! for COE to go from 40cents to 50 cents there is an increase of 25%. A rise in market value of about $29M
BPT has to go from the current 92 cents to 115 cents which IMO is unlikely. MC would have to rise $253M in 2 months.
I agree with your observations and we would possibly all be Warren Buffetts if the market worked in a logical fashion and we could predict the future; but, those darned Black Swans keep on popping up - destroying dreams and value and making fools of us all...
Hey! COE now 41 cents - up 3.8% already - BPT only up 1%; so I am off to a good start for the next two months :)
