Several months ago the "Trump Administration" banned the sale of the Nvidia advanced AI chip "H-20 to China because the US did not want the Chinese companies to use it in making products.
Now a few months later China is developing its own AI chips and Nvidia is missing out on International sales of its chip to China.
New rule from the Trump Administration: We will encourage Nvidia to sell their H-20 chip to China in order for it to compete against the more "inferior" Chinese AI chips.
Does this not seem like a complete reversal of its previous policy?
