I support GO, the moderators and any poster that gives their view on stocks they have an interest in .
In the spirit of Hot Copper , as each second of the day ticks by , something changes , and when it does every person has the right to make a call on how they feel at that point in time , and share that opinion .
As the market moves I find I can swing from one opinion and then back very quickly , and each time I do , I can make a choice whether I buy , sell or hold a stock.
One famous saying is there is only 3 certainties in life , death taxes and change .
In respect to change , I am definately guilty of changing my opinion regularly , and over the years I have sold out of stocks that I was previously certain had massive potential , and then see them skyrocket for all the reasons I had previously been full of verve about .
On other occasions I have made sell calls and later felt relief as the companies didnt fulfil any of the potential I had once believed it had , and the change of view had saved me plenty .
In the case of GO , I think all he does is share his view , and it is very important to always be open to listening to those who do have an alterantive view.
We must ask , is it possible we will see .60 as GO predicts .
The answer of course is , of course it is possible , just like it is possible that the broker target of $3.92 is possible
Both views in my view are a long way off.
I believe a lot of what GO states about MHM has been very accurate , I also disagree with many other points he makes about the stock .
I do not doubt however whilst he may may enjoy a stir, he atually believes MHM is going to drop , and shares his reasoning , mainly because he wants to be proven right .
As I interpret his posts I am open to hearing the views that
1. The board lacks expertise in an ASX enviroment
2. The company has overpromised and encountered delays
3. The company is not profitable
4 The company may require additional funding to move to the US
5 The geelong plant will not achieve the profits forecast
From where I sit as a holder of stock I think all of these points have validity as possible , but from GO seat I believe he believes that entrirely and as a typical trader his ego gets satisfaction from being right .
In addition making cash on a short is also fulfilling , that said I actually get a feeling his short might be a bit of a white lie .
As many in here would realise my view has changed over the last 2 months , from the point where I expected a fall when the stock was $1.30 to the point of buying stock at .90 , then again at 1.03 over the last 10 days .
My explanation on the change in opinion is as a result of some information out of this forum , from Brickworks , magix, enrich, the celica man , and others that went to the AGM , seem to have done hours of work ressearching the process, the company , the market potential , visiting the site, and so on .
it prompted me to over the last 3 or 4 nights call associates around the world , in Perth , Geelong , enquiring about board members, the perception of the technology, whether majors like Alcoa etc would deal with a business like MHM and whether the globe was really ready to pay to change from current processes.
I could not find a critic .
I found quite a few I called didnt know the people I enquired about , quite a few who thought it wouldnt be easy , but overall those who did know them , the integrity of the MHM people and technology got gold stars
This as other posters from Firsova the russian skeptic would realize is as the start of my post discusses a major turn around from a previous view.
I still believe the company has a lot of challenges , and I am not a total bull , but answering the quation of a few days back am I a seller at 1.10 if it gets there
The answer at this point in my thinking is definately not.!
As GO says
