Ann: Strategy Update Webinar, page-5

I sold a few weeks ago when they issued a "strategy update" at the start of quarterly season, with no numbers and vague talk of recycling solar panels and rare earths (they don't have any spare money for these). It also said they are primed for future growth or something. I interpreted this as indicating they didn't grow as much as hoped this quarter and they're begging investors to keep the faith. So id suggest waiting for the quarterly to come out (at least) before buying. Also, this they're meant to make the big decision with minres this quarter about forming a JV over liena. There's some risk with this too because minres are struggling so they might pull the pin, which would mean LIT will have to pay money to minres. There's also the ongoing litigation hanging over LIT regarding the fire way back (though I was never really worried about this).

This could be a good stock eventually because there's going to be plenty of growth in recycling in Australia, but I'll just be watching for probs six months or so to see how the upcoming risk events unfold.

i suspect the spikes in tonnes they had in recycling last year were significantly because of the LG battery recall, but I'm not sure.

last thing, my old sparring partner panguna assures me that another mob is building a much bigger recycling plant in Australia. If memory serves, this should be up to commissioning by the end of the year. However, I haven't seen anything concrete because it's a private company building it (I believe).

Gotta make your own decision of course, but that's my 2c
