Here is an interesting chart. This accumulation/distribution chart for a group of retail brokers including of course CommSec.
This chart for retail investors often reflects the reverse of what professional players are doing.If mums and dads switch from buying to selling (that's what's happening now) that means that professional investors started to buy more than they are selling as a group.
As you can see, the retail investors switched from buying to selling recently. I treat it as a positive sign and confirmation of potential reversal.
Here is another chart - this one is for a subgroup of professional brokers - investment banks - just 7 brokers but quite powerful.They were selling for quite long and now quite neutral. If they start to buy soon, this may push the price well up.
