Slow and steady is now NIC's approach it seems. Which is all sensible given the Nickel oversupply that has been working its way through the system (we are likely on the otherside of the dip now).
It would be nice to see them commission early as was done previously but given the margins are now smaller and the cost of capital higher it makes sense to delay things.
NIC share price seems to continue to grind slowly higher. The slow pace gives me the impression that the fire sale at 0.69c earlier this year has really had a big effect. It both scared the market and created a massive glut of shares that counterparties likely wanted to offload at anything above 0.69c.
It will be interesting to see where things head in the next 6 months. Personally I still think NIC is a bargain but I am still overinvested in NIC.
