Hi salty,
Maybe you're correct, but it is still somewhat of a mystery.
It can start for no known reason with no family history, which somewhat but not entirely rules out the genetic stuff.
I do acknowledge that a family history makes one more likely to get it
I have seen someone who got it quite badly after a severe car accident...no known history of psoriasis in the family.
In this case not really environmental either.
More a trauma situation.
Yeah certain environmental situations aggravate it, but the skin is extra sensitive as a result of the psoriasis,.. so not sure whether the environment causes the psoriasis or the psoriasis makes the skin sensitive to the environment.
As I said earlier.. tricky stuff.
My biochem is not entirely up to date but the complexity of the chemistry of the human body is just amazing. The more we know & find out, the more we realise we don't know.
I generally steer clear of the biotec stocks because I know & do understand the lead times/failures/ costs etc.... & most of the wannabes in the biotec sector will eventually fail.......
Big bickies for the success stories, but too hard to pick.
(My achillies heel here is I do like & have shares in IMU & atm I am behind ...
I should listen to myself !!!! LOL )
Cheers,
