Core samples coming out of Minbrie are no joke when core feels 3 times heavier than normal rock, that’s excellent, but when you start talking about 4–5 times heavier, that’s fantasy land.

Why? Because dense metallic minerals like sulfides (copper, lead, zinc, nickel) and PGMs (platinum, palladium) have specific gravities far above average rock. Sperrylite (PtAs₂), for example, sits at a massive 10.6 g/cm³ nearly four times heavier than granite and even small percentages of this ‘navy sperrylite’ in core can skyrocket the economic value.

Look at Raglan (Ni–Cu–PGE) in Canada: sperrylite forms only ~30% of the PGM grains there, yet it massively boosts tenor and made Raglan an explosion case. Heavy core = rich mineralization. Minbrie isn’t just promising; it’s hinting at a potential hidden PGM jackpot.
