From a macro perspective things could not be better for CBH - the Chinese & to a lesser extent Indian economies are showing an ongoing strong demand for commodities - this should underpin stong commoditiy prices for the next 12-18 ths at least. Thus zinc & lead - CBH's two main areas should hold up well . Any further strengthening of prices should flow straight to CBH's bottom line. My gut says it should be OK - the managment looks pretty good...
This stock is exciting - well managed, backed by Macquarie and has exploration upside - additions to reserves is a distinct possibility - .... The company has neglibile debt, 20m+ of cash in the bank and strong ongoing cash flows. Furthermore CBH is profitable - making money...
CBH FY04 maiden profit $5.25m net after tax with revenue $102m. Each 1c rise in zinc price adding $1.8m in revenue. 1H05 results expected to be similar to FY2004.
It seems surprising but CBH may have slipped under the radar scope of a lot of analysts...from 29c level a good bit of news could see a really big kick in the share price..
