General Matters Announcement August 5th 2025

I was thinking about General Matters and have thought of a few possibilities;

(1) They are setting up a laser enrichment plant in direct competition to GLE/Silex (seems unlikely but possible). They will be many years behind the Silex process if this is their intention. Large quantities can speed things up however only to an extent

(2) They are setting up a centrifuge plant to produce enriched Uranium that can be used for military purposes (they may be GLE's first customer or use other tails as a source) . In my understanding of the Agreement for cooperation regarding Silex that once material has been through the Silex process it can't be used for any military purposes

(3) They are funding the PLEF in some way. This may give them part ownership in this facility but not necessarily ownership of GLE

(4) They are buying a share of GLE (from Silex perhaps) and in doing so funding some or all of the PLEF/SWU/HALEU plants. Before the restructure Silex didn't own any of the parent company and it just ended up that way. This share would not have to be at "fair market value" since there is no obligation to sell to them at all. This would dilute or eliminate Silex ownership of GLE but give Silex a very large cash injection

My best guess is #3 or #4. I don't think these guys want to start from scratch and they have the funds to make purchase and fund things. Time will tell

Either way this could have a massive impact on Silex and will be a very interesting announcement
