    you are correct about carrying tax losses forward.

    however to correctly calculate p/e, it is necessary to use actual earnings in that year.

    so your statement, whilst appearing to be logical, is not accepted practice.

    please, no more about these technical points as it bores me.

    I am concentrating on actualities
