It's their job to protest against such plans and the press loves these types of headlines. So CCWA have set the starting point at 6.5ML per day (2.5 olympic size swimming pools).... and I am sure with EPA's advice and recycling that TOE could reduce their usage. They wont stop the mining...just make sure water is used more wisely. Which is a good thing.
