ok here goes:

For me FA is the most important citerion for stock selection - period
once FA convinced me I stay with it until FA changes or management

I like TA - wether you come from "wave" or "fib" or whatever - the limitation I see is that TA has a hard time when Fundamentals change - look at FML (and RMS for that matter or any mining/tech/biotech) where fundamentals change according to what is found, additional tenements etc.

When I get better with TA, most likely will keep a few more "trading stocks" to supplement the money I need for my "children" - in the past that has enabled me to finance staying with and adding to my fav stocks

However - investing creates wealth, not just for the holder but for the company, employees and all of OZ - not sure trading does that (other than the ATO who just loves traders)

Then there's my "active" PF - changes around the edges to suit need
and my Super PF - which is more stable and contains my "best" kids
