what will Australia do? Stay on board and go under, or jump in and swim to ???? wherever it can?
For sake of debate - assume that America economically collapses - far more rapidly than we ever thought possible --
in that case - what are the options for Australia - that are 'practical' ??
Some I see are
*start paddling alone
* reach out to China
* get into an allegiance with local neighbours, not necessarily with China being a member - but, hopefully as a friend who lives nearby in a big house
* align with Europe
disregard if America survives ------ assume it doesn't - and explore the options
