Trees - the deposition of amorphous silicon thin films.
Hanrahan - I'm not surprised if you were taken in yourself. The difference between us is I took the time to critique the article and I was surprised and dismayed by what I read. I am going to call a spade a spade and sorry if you don't like it.
I agree with Mowibble - what's the point? No one seems interested in anyone else's opinion, so it is now just a bait-a-thon and a waste of time.
As Adam Bandt said at a discussion group I was at last night - environmentalists are tired of being punched in the face every time they say something. And I am tired of logging onto HotChopper and seeing constant low-rent racist, xenophobic, anti-science, anti-humanity opinions from people on the Politics and General forums.
Anyway, where did these Quadrant guys dig up these poor excuses for experts? They must think we are all idiots. Why doesn't Geoffrey Lehmann stick to accounting and poetry, Peter Farrell to biomedical engineering and Dick Warburton to his company boards? Is it too much to ask to let this debate be framed by the experts? Clearly it is for many people.
