Just reported and not a very kind market this season - ie

If result and outlook is EXCEPTIONAL - price goes up
If result and outlook is VERY GOOD - price stays steady or falls a bit
If result and outlook is GOOD - stock gets sold off considerably
If result and outlook is AVERAGE - price gets smacked
If result and outlook is POOR - Price gets an absolute shellacking

Pays to be in sectors where there is positive sentiment at the minute - ie Energy. Consumer Discretionary especially is not a good place :-(
