THey could do what the bio tech companies do when they get desperate and issue convertable notes instead of shares , C notes are higher on the pecking order if the company is wound up so corporate raiders tend to like them., but they are a toxic form of debt IMHO for any company and dampen the sp severely one only has to look at HTX to see that.
